Award Eligibility Post 2021

It’s that time again: When the adoring masses heap me with accolades! Well, maybe not, but you can nominate my 2021 publications for your favorite awards and best-of-the-year collections, if that floats your proverbial boat. My publications, they are thusly:

Way back in the time of yore that was February, I published a story about a little salamander that causes big trouble in Utopia Science Fiction. It’s The Curious Case of the Cave Salamander, and it covers everything from water pollution to the illegal pet trade.

Back in my usual stomping ground of historical fiction comes Neofan, a sweet little story about gay fan culture in the 1960s published in Voyage YA. Trekkies will be Trekkies.

I wasn’t planning to send out my conversion-therapy horror retelling of The Yellow Wallpaper out this year, but fate intervened, and I think it turned out pretty fantastically creepy. Check out Unshackled in Cinnabar Moth’s zine (page 43).

Last for the moment but certainly not least, here’s my eco-horror story Los Angeles Is Sinking, featured in the Dreadstone Press anthology Field Notes From a Nightmare. Were you terrified of quicksand as a kid? Then this one’s for you.

I’ve got more stories in the pipeline for the last months of 2021, so keep your eyes peeled.
